Beloved Family and Friends,

       I have finally arrived safe and sound in Tanzania, Africa!  I headed out of Nashville on January 5th.  After a layover in Chicago I met up with a dear friend and had the opportunity to tour London.  It was a sweet time of fellowship and a much needed time of focus.  It was good for me to visit London before heading to Dar es Salaam.  You see sometimes we’re so quick to see the needs of those we deem less fortunate than ourselves.  But we need to always be mindful of the vast need that lies deep within every human being, the spiritual need that cries out for a savior.  God reminded me as we traveled around London by bus, that England is just as much in need of Jesus as Africa will ever be.  He is the hope of the nations!
